This Service is suitable for clients who are not interested in face-to-face visits. Regardless of the reason, these services bypass barriers to care such as transportation, and are a more affordable option. Breastfeeding Education & Lactation Management Consultations
Breastfeeding education is an important step in preparing for your new baby and throughout your journey. We offer a series of educational sessions ranging from prenatal, returning to work, pumping, weaning, and transitional foods, & more. Educational Services are offered virtually for ease of access and convenience.

During this visit, the lactation counselor/ consultant will gather full medical and breastfeeding history. As well as, a clinical breastfeeding assessment for each mom-baby couplet. Consultations include but not limited to a breast exam, infant oral assessment, infant weight, latch and positioning assessment, breastfeeding management and problem solving, customized care plans, written report to baby’s pediatrician, and professional referrals as needed.

This service includes a detailed email of the care plan, follow-up instructions, and assessment findings, client email support (no more than 2 replies) in addition to a phone call or virtual consult via Microsoft Teams (no longer than 60 minutes time can be divided into 2 visits if needed).

This service includes up to 1 month of email and phone support (with unlimited client emails with a maximum of no more than 4 detailed replies and no more than 5 phone calls/ virtual follow-up visits (limited to no longer than 30 minutes each, in addition to up to 60 minutes for initial consult). The initial consult entails a detailed assessment of mother-infant dyad, care plan, and follow-up instructions.
