The BLACK Collaborative, Inc,

The BLACK Collaborative Inc. (Birth & Lactation Agents of Change Keepers) is a dedicated consortium of Black birthing, lactation, and maternal child health professionals, advocates, and allies united in their mission to tackle issues surrounding Black mortality, reproductive rights, and health equity. As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Ohio, we work collaboratively to foster a supportive network focused on improving outcomes for Black families and ensuring access to equitable maternal health resources.

B.R.E.A.S.T. 4 Babes, Inc.

Established in 2016, B.R.E.A.S.T. 4 Babes, Inc. (Black Breastfeeding, Research, Education, & Awareness Team) is committed to advancing research on breastfeeding equity and social justice for Black mothers, their infants, and their families. The organization focuses on initiatives designed to reduce infant mortality rates among minority and vulnerable populations, particularly within the Black community. B4B is dedicated to addressing racial disparities in healthcare to eliminate the biases that systematically hinder breastfeeding equity, ultimately promoting improved health outcomes for underserved communities.

Under the direct supervision of the IBCLC, our Clinical Breastfeeding Management Counselor (C-BMC) Certification Training Course mentees will provide guidance to families that protects, promotes, and supports breastfeeding, while respecting the counselor's individual breastfeeding goals.
