Equity in MOTION program will form the BLACK (Birth & Lactation Agent of Change Keepers) Steering committee, which includes members from Cincinnati birthing facilities and community-based organization that work advances Black well-being and MOST IMPORTANTLY individuals who identify as BLACK community members for the target population. Our assumption: is rebuilding trust by listening and earning the trust of those who live injustice daily, we will reshape communities for a more just and equitable future.

BREAST 4 Babes, Incorporated is a non-profit multisector task force or action committee assembled to address a race-based health disparity regarding exclusive breastfeeding and maternal child health among Black women. The purpose of this health initiative is to impose a change in the social and political environment whereby decisions that affect breastfeeding and impede breastfeeding resources for this population is made; by influencing or shaping the debate about barriers that impact this health behavior and the health outcome for Black women, infant, and children.

BREAST 4 Babes, Inc. national task force sets out to address specific problems or accomplish a specific goal related to health behavior and the health outcome for Black women, infants, and children drawing from all sectors of the community affected by or involved in the problem. Our primary goal is to zero in on the areas that need the most, or immediate, attention, while soliciting community involvement in planning and carrying out any action or initiative identified within the larger mission of BREAST 4 Babes, Inc.
